Artistic Intention.

The two levels of my practice are to develop my own skills as a street artist and to work as an artist in a community context .

As artistic director of Artastic I am committed to the performance of contemporary street theatre, in which the development of outdoor entertainment is nurtured in order to allow for an ever widening context, yet at the same time in keeping with tradition, remaining true to the art forms origin.

Practicing as an artist in a community context, I work with the group’s abilities, and do not expect more than they are capable of. With an emphasis on a quality of artistic experience, I aim always to allow participants be involved creatively, and provide enough material to further explore creative development in their own time.
